SING LAU

        Sing Lau is a videographer.

Born and raised in Hong Kong, he graduated from the School of Creative Media at City University of Hong Kong. As a moving-image creator, he wears many hats, often taking charge behind the camera as a videographer, director and producer. He is a founding member of ‘Negative Space’; an artist-run exhibition space dedicated to supporting young artists through the fostering of contemporary imaging and lens-based media.

His immense passion for classic cars led to the inception of his current project ‘Fotan Clan’, which brings to light the unconventional dynamics between modern car enthusiasts and their vast car collections. His versatility shines through his extensive portfolio, with his work ranging from fashion video pieces to full-length documentaries. Most recently, he directed and shot a full-length documentary piece exploring the classic car scene across Japan. He is setting his sights on bringing his colorful vision to shooting more long and short-form narrative films.
